Link Scooters sought to promote their ground-breaking onboard software/firmware innovations for their micro-mobility products. Collaborating with the communications team and in-house industrial designers, I played a crucial role in transforming CAD data into animation-ready assets using Maya.
I also constructed a stylised street scene featuring a dark background alley and visually striking “light walls” that allowed for flexible configuration on a shot-by-shot basis. This setup enabled us to showcase dynamic graphics and adjust the lighting according to the desired visual impact.
Link launched The program on YouTube, generating an impressive 250,000 views on the first day. This enthusiastic response indicated a strong interest from the audience, highlighting the effectiveness of the animation in capturing attention and effectively conveying the innovative features of Link Scooters’ new onboard software/firmware.
